Monday, December 15, 2008 - Daily Announcements

Lunch today is Pork Fritter or a Pork Tenderloin.

1. All students being dropped off for school or morning activities from 7:55 – 8:15, please have your parents drop you off at the Junior High door in the back. You are not to be pulling up at the circle drive to be dropped off. No one is to be dropped off at the front door unless you are escorted into the building by a parent. The same teacher is out front monitoring everyday and is prepared to give detentions to those of you who are not repeatedly following directions that you are given.

2. PACC festival chorus members please turn in your ticket money today.Make sure your music is memorized. Check over your notes about what to wearconcerning Thursday's rehearsal and where parents should pick you up.3. The Jr. High Christmas Concert is Tuesday, at Metamora Township HighSchool, at 7:00 p.m. The Primary Christmas program is Thursday, in thenew gym at 6:00 p.m.

4. Pep band will perform tonight at the home basketball game. Band members should meet in the bandroom at 5:15. Thank you!

Thursday, December 11, 2008 - Daily Announcements

Lunch today is chicken sandwich.

1. Any junior high student interested in Scholastic Bowl there will be a very brief informational meeting on Thursday, December 11th at 3:05-3:15. Miss Reed is sick today, so please stop by Mrs. Hunter’s room for that meeting. Miss Reed left the information with Mrs. Hunter.

2. All students being dropped off for school or morning activities from 7:55 – 8:15, please have your parents drop you off at the Junior High door in the back. 3. Jr. High Jazz Band will rehearse every day this week. There will be no Jazz Band II rehearsals this week. 8th, 7th and 6th Grade Band members should go to the band room during PE today. Do not go to PE or health.

4. State bound! The 8th grade girls won their sectional game last night against Peru-Washington. They will be headed to State on Saturday, for the first round of games. The girls play at 2:30. There will be a pep rally on Friday at 1:15 in the New Gym to send the girls off in style.

Lunch today is cheese pizza.

1. Student Council Members--Santa's workshop is still in need of people to work some of the shifts. Please stop by Miss Cotton's room TODAY to sign up for a shift.

4. Let’s pack the gym tonight as the 8th grade girls host Class 8-3A Sectionals at 6:00. Come cheer on the lady birds as they play Peru-Washington tonight. Good luck girls.

5. Cheerleaders, make sure you get your t-shirt money to Mrs. McIntosh ASAP. You will not get your t-shirt on Friday without payment. There are still a few cheerleaders who have not paid.

Lunch today are tacos.

3. There will be a yearbook committee meeting at 7:45 on Wednesday, December 10 in Mrs. E's room.

4. Jr. High Jazz Band will rehearse every morning this week. There will be no Jazz Band II rehearsals. Today all 8th, 7th and 6th Grade Band members should go to the bandroom during PE. Do not go to health or PE. Thank you.

7. Congratulations to our 7th grade boys who have advanced to the championship round of the Woodford County Principal's Association Boys Basketball tourney. They played against El-Paso Gridley last night and won in overtime. The boys will play Germantown Hills on Thursday night at 7:30 in Washburn.

Lunch is a hot dog.

PACC Festival singers rehearse all week.Fruit delivery is Thursday. Truck will be here in afternoon, sometimebetween 1:30 -2 p.m. Student helpers mark your calendars again. Thank you for volunteering!

Student Council members need to stop by Miss Cotton's room to sign up Santa's Workshop TODAY.

All staff names have been put into a drawing sponsored by the Student Council. Mrs. Marshall will draw 3 names from the pile every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during announcements. Once your name has been drawn, you are out of the drawing. The last 10 names will get a special prize.
