Congratulations to the Marching Band on an oustanding performance at the Parade and Field on Saturday. Way to GO!

Saturday was the sectional cross country meet for both the boys and girls at Germantown Grade School. The boys team came to an end Saturday but they had a very good season. They finished fourth in the ten team event just missing going to state. The bright spot is that Joel did qualify individually to go on to State next Saturday. The girls’ team had a very good showing Saturday. They won their Sectional. This is the third year in a row that the girls have won their sectional. Ashlyn and Gabby both finished in the top ten runners with Ashlyn placing 6th and Gabby was 10th. Quinn and Brooke placed 3rd and 4th for the team. These four girls were within 15 seconds of each other which is very important in team scoring. Rounding out the scoring for the team was Gillian, Emily, and Sarah. Joel and the girls team will compete next Saturday at Parkside Junior High School in Normal Illinois. Joel and the girls would love for you to come out and see them compete for your school.
